Winning ‘Casino Prophet’ Allegedly Banned From CasinosAfrican Holy Man Claims $30K Win Inspired By God |

Everyone entering a casino hopes to beat the odds and score some nice winnings. One gambler from Zimbabwe has apparently overcome the odds and claims he has God on his side.
Archbishop Emmanuel Mutumwa is the leader of the Johanne Masowe Chishanu Apostolic Sect and has boasted that he recently won $30,000 after receiving a “vision from a higher power,” according to media reports. In a country where the average annual income is around $1,700, that was quite a haul and several casinos in Zimbabwe and South Africa are said to have now banned this “casino prophet” from playing at their tables.
“They [casino bosses] claim that since I am a prophet, I am receiving visions from God about the winning numbers,” he said after the win. “They fear they will go bankrupt because I will win too often.”
Most gamblers have little faith that their play will “bankrupt” the casinos. But Mutumwa believes that God is revealing the numbers to him, thus his predictions have proven to be correct leading to the casino bans.
“God works in mysterious ways,” he said. “This win wasn’t about luck, but a test of faith. I prayed for guidance and the Lord provided the numbers through a vision. Isn’t it a blessing to use these winnings to uplift my congregation?”
The actual winnings and casino bans haven’t been verified. The “casino prophet” runs YouTube and TikTok channels to share his message. Mutumwa has said that he used the winnings to pay school fees for children who are members of his church and used some to help fund local businesses.
