Regette Bechara Wins First World Poker Tour Ladies Event

She Took Home the $33,000 First-Place Prize and a Seat into $1,500 WPTL Championship

The World Poker Tour Ladies (WPTL) league premiered this week at the Borgata Poker Open with its first event of the series, which was a $300 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament.

A nearly $115,000 prize pool was generated from the 383 women who entered. Regette Bechara won the top prize of more than $33,000 and a $1,500 seat into the season-ending $1,500 WPT Ladies championship.
