Three More $500 Buy-in Events Completed

Paul VinciThe L.A. Poker Classic continues as events No. 5-7, all $500 buy-ins, have been completed.

Event No. 5 was a $500 buy-in seven-card stud event that attracted 136 players. It was the smallest field of the series so far, but Paul Vinci took home a nice prize of just under $20,000 of the nearly $66,000 prize pool.Shan Jing

The $500 buy-in no-limit hold’em event No. 6 generated a much bigger prize pool of almost $259,000. Shan Jing was the last player standing of the 533 that started. He won nearly $65,000 for first.

Event No. 7, a $500 buy-in no-limit hold’em shootout, started with 280 Ben Keikyplayers who generated a prize pool of about $136,000. Ben Keiky won all of his tables and ended up with a first-place prize of more than $38,000.
