It's finally time for poker fans to get their yearly fix of brand-new episodes of the World Series of Poker. Tuesday night is now poker night on ESPN, and it all begins tonight from 8-10 p.m. ET with the premiere show that will feature the $10,000 pot-limit hold'em world championship.
This is the first event of the 2008 WSOP, which has been dubbed "The Year of the Pros." This table exemplifies just that, as the stacked final table included Kathy Leibert, Mike Sexton, Chris Bell, Mike Sowers, Phil Laak, Patrik Antonius, Amit Makhija, Andy Bloch, and Nenad Medic.
