Poker superstar Mike “The Mouth” Matusow is the featured host of the newest free poker training video from Card Player Pro (powered by PokerSavvy Plus). The footage and analysis is from an eight-handed $500-$1,000 H.O.R.S.E. game, and his fellow Team Full Tilt member Jennifer Harman is also at the table. This video clip, as well as three additional free clips by other instructors, is currently available on the Card Player Pro preview page.
In the video clip, Matusow gets involved in a really interesting hand during a seven-card stud eight-or-better round. In the hand, Matusow is forced into the action as the bring-in, and he uses his knowledge of the dead cards to make a crucial decision with his excellent but dangerous holding against an aggressive opponent. He also goes over how to play concealed aces (which eventually also give him a low) versus the same opponent. According to Matusow, “All of you people out there in H.O.R.S.E.-learning land truly got to see some very bad poker playing” on his opponent's part.
