When 29-year-old Kevin Allen from Romford won the LEOCOP pot-limit event recently, he didn’t realise he also won a ticket to the invitation-only LEOCOP IV Masters on Nov. 22, and ultimately the chance to take down the Poker Million VII. This guarantees him the opportunity to play in the live final on Dec. 12 where the top prize of $1,000,000 is up for grabs.
Allen said, “I'm over the moon ... This sort of thing just doesn't happen to me and everything from this moment on is icing on the cake. I'm really excited to think that I'll be playing in a tournament with over a million in the prize pool especially as I always watch the Ladbrokes Poker Million on TV. I can't believe that this time round instead of watching, I'll be in it."
Kevin will be joined by players such as Jonas Danielsson, Barney Boatman, Ross Boatman, Ryan Fronda, Ciaran O'Leary, Liam Flood, and Kenneth Sorensen.
