Jan Boubli Is Named WilliamHillPoker.com's European Player of the Month

The Man They Call "Le Grand" Received All the Votes

Jan "le Grand" Boubli won WilliamHillPoker.com's European Player of the Month for September after he won the European Poker Tour event that took place at the Casino Barcelona last month.

For his victory, the retired French dentist won 416,000 euros, as well as a unanimous choice by the judges at WilliamHillPoker.com.

"Jan's win was a remarkable performance given the strength of the final table. He fought off a very aggressive final table to weave his way to fantastic win, taking home the cool 416,000 Euro first prize," said Phil Quayle, poker room manager for William Hill.

Previous winners of the WilliamHillPoker.com European player of the month award, which is powered by PokerinEurope.com, include Rob Hollink, Paul Maxfield, Peter Gunnarsen, Lawrence Gosney, Andy Black, and Tony G.
