PKR.com Announces Team PKR Pro Signings

PKR.com, the 3-D online poker room, yesterday announced the six players who will make up Team PKR Pro.

Three of the names will be recognisable to many players: TV presenter Ashley Hames, Grosvenor UK Poker Tour champion Andrew Teng, and Irish Open main event finalist Kai Danilo Paulsen; while the other three are regular high-profile players on the site Raymond O’Mahoney (callmebabe), James Sudworth (James666) and Henrik Eklund (pokey85).

The new team will represent PKR.com as ambassadors on the live circuit as well as contributing to the community at the site in the form of PKR TV appearances and the provision of content.

 “We’ve been following our initial ‘Team PKR Pro’ members for some time," said Simon Prodger, marketing director at the company, “and are convinced that they all have the game and personality required to be genuinely world class poker players. They are also among the most recognised and respected players within the PKR community so are guaranteed to have over two and a half million people cheering them on every time they play.”

The news comes at the start of PKR Live II which takes place this week at the Loose Cannon club in London.
