Final Table Set As Big Names Fall Just Short

The PokerStars.com European Poker Tour Monte Carlo Grand Final has its final eight. From 935 players the field has been Annette Obrestadwhittled down over four days and a top prize of €2.3 million is now in the sights of the remaining competitors who are guaranteed a prize of at least €170,000.

Yesterday saw a number of familiar European faces dispatched including Annette Obrestad (pictured right), Johannes Strassman, Alain Roy, and George Danzer.
