Excapsa Software, Inc., the company that licenses poker software to such sites as UltimateBet.com, UltimatePoker.com, and CardPlayerPoker.com, has donated its software to a new poker site that is designed to raise money for charity.

BenefitPoker.org was launched in October and exists to bring people together to play poker for charity. More than 80 percent of all funds generated during the online poker tournaments are donated directly to the charities.

Live charity poker tournaments are taking place all over the country and even online, but BenefitPoker.org is the first online poker room to exist solely to raise money for non-profits and individuals who need a little help.

The next charity tournament at BenefitPoker.org takes place Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 8 p.m. Dollars earned will go to help Dylan Hartung, a 7-year-old Australian boy receiving treatment in New York City for stage IV neuroblastoma.

The site is always looking for nonprofits and charities to work with.
