Bodog promises that if you don’t manage to snag a seat in the World Series of Poker main event, or you bust out early, there’s still plenty of poker to be played with the site’s Bodog Mini Poker Series. The event, scheduled to run alongside the WSOP main event from July 3-15, features 15 events, including invitational final and semi-final events.

The tournaments in the series are all hold’em, but they include variations like six-handed, four-handed, turbo, rebuy, limit, pot-limit, and more. The buy-in for every single event is $10+$1.

The Series hinges on a leader-board contest wherein the top 10 finishers on the leader board earn entry in the final event. Along with those 10 players, players can also gain entry by playing in all 13 preliminary events. In addition, the final 18 players in the semi-final event will snag a seat in the final.

To get into the semi-final, players need to either play in at least seven prelim events or finish in 11th-50th place on the series leader board.

The Bodog Mini Poker Series final’s grand prize is a $12,000 prize package for the 2010 WSOP main event. The second- and third-place finishers earn a Bodog Poker Open IV prize package, including buy-ins to every event. Fourth and fifth place get a seat in the Bodog Flight Club semi-final (a $270 value). The remaining players at the final table will snag T$109 for entry into the regular Sunday $100,000-guaranteed event on Bodog.
