The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour pulls into Luton, England for its sixth leg main event today. Over 300 players are expected for the £1,000 buy in no limit hold’em tournament which has two start days and ends on Sunday.
Last year the event was won by Sam Trickett who took down £106,050 for his victory over the 376 runner field.
Elsewhere, the GUKPT has announced a new leg on its Summer Series tour with the inclusion of Coventry as a festival stop from August 27 to 30, 2009. The centerpiece of the festival will be the two-day £300 no limit hold’em main event.
