With all eyes in the poker world currently on London, one of the lesser publicised festivals is currently running at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino, London.
The European Poker Championships are pulling in players who, perhaps, are not bankrolled or eager to take on the big names at the World Series of Poker Europe also taking place in the English capital.
The results so far are:
£750 no-limit hold’em freezeout: Daniel Rudd — £17,300
£1000 no-limit hold’em freezeout: Martyn Cavanagh — £18,870
£500 no-limit hold’em freezeout: Lukas Baumer — £17,480
£200 no-limit hold’em freezeout: Eamonn Gilroy — £16,000
£200 pot-limit Omaha rebuy: Jim Reid — £7,300
£500 pot-limit Omaha double chance feezeout: Joseph Rutledge — £10,360
