World Poker Tour -- World Poker Finals Begins Tomorrow$10,000 No-limit Hold’em Event Scheduled for Six Days |

The World Poker Tour is returning to New England once again for the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods Hotel and Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. The $10,000 no-limit hold’em championship event begins on Thursday, Nov. 5 at noon EST. The tournament will conclude when a champion is crowned at the final table on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Card Player will feature daily news recaps about the event. The WPT event is the 17th event on a schedule of 20 tournaments for the 2009 World Poker Finals tournament series. Last year, poker professional Jonathan Little (pictured left) defeated a field of 411 other players to take home $1,120,213 and his second WPT title.
Players will begin with 30,000 in starting chips in the $10,000 WPT championship event and levels will be 90 minutes long. All tournament days will begin at noon, except for the final table, which begins at 4 p.m. Here is a look at the full schedule for the event:
