Derek Murray from Claregalway in Ireland has followed in the footsteps of his friend Jude “j.thaddeus” Ainsworth and taken down a major online poker event.
Murray, who has been knocking on the door of a major victory for quite a while, won $125,959 in FTOPS event 24, the No-Limit Hold’em Knockout ($800,000 Guarantee), on “Full Tilt”:Full Tilt at the weekend beating a field of 9,832 players in the $120+$9 event.
