The final stop for season three on the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour will begin tomorrow in Sydney, Australia. The $5,636 ($6,300 AUD) no-limit hold’em Grand Final will start at 12:30 p.m. local time. There will be three day-one flights in this event, and the tournament participation is capped at 750 entrants. The Sydney Grand Final will crown a champion on Sunday, Dec. 6.
There will be numerous side-events taking place at the Star City Casino in Sydney this next week in conjunction with the APPT stop. A $15,300 AUD no-limit hold’em high-rollers event will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and a champion will be crowned at the final table on Wednesday. There will also be a $550 AUD ladies no-limit hold’em event on Thursday, and a $3,200 AUD heads-up no-limit hold’em event on Sunday.
