Unibet Open WarsawJimmy Jonsson is the young Swede who is now the proud owner of €161,271 and a shiny new trophy for taking down the final Unibet Open of the year in Poland.

From Dec. 3-6, 401 players took their seats at Casinos Poland at the Warsaw Hyatt, and by the time Jonsson had picked up his first-place prize, 400 had exited the same way they came in.

His heads-up opponent was Frenchman Regis Burlot, and the final hand came when Jonsson raised to 115,000 from the small blind and Burlot made the call from the big blind. The flop fell KDiamond Suit JClub Suit 8Club Suit, Burlot checked, and Jonsson bet 130,000. Burlot raised it to 300,000 and Jonsson quickly moved all in. Burlot called and the remaining cards were tantalisingly dealt.

The turn was the 9Heart Suit and river was the QDiamond Suit. Burlot showed QClub Suit 10Diamond Suit for a turned straight while Burlot showed KSpade Suit 9Spade Suit for two pair.
