PartyPoker.com yesterday announced Yevgeniy Timoshenko as the second addition to the line-up of the Premier League IV. The young Ukranian-born American, who won the World Championship of Online Poker last year will join current champion J.C. Tran on the felt at the exclusive made-for-TV event.
Mike Sexton enthused about Timoshenko’s ability saying, “He has completely taken the poker world by storm, first of all by winning over $2 million in live tournament earnings without cashing in a WSOP event and with all that he has done since.
“Yevgeniy is a good ambassador for the game. I never forget before the WPT Championship final table last year he went out and bought and new suit and got a haircut for the occasion. I think he is an excellent addition to the Premier League line-up.”
This Sunday January 10th sees the final $450 + $30 online qualifier at PartyPoker.com at 8:20 GMT with just one package remaining. Due to high demand the final qualifier, worth $100,000 to the winner, has been pulled forward from Sunday 17th but online hopefuls can still qualify for the Sunday final for as little as $2 at the site.
The Premier League IV prize pool is $1.5 million.
