Card Player Netherlands Editor Takes Down €170,000 in Hungary

Anthon-Pieter Wink winner of the Unibet Open BudapestCard Player Netherlands editor Anthon-Pieter Wink topped the 460-strong field at last weekend’s Unibet Open in Budapest lifting the top prize of €170,000 in the €1,650 buy-in main event.

Wink beat Peder Skaj from Sweden heads up when having raised 100,000 on the button and facing a raise of 300,000 he called. The flop came QHeart Suit 9Club Suit 3Heart Suit. Skaj moved all in and Wink called after reflection with the nut-flush drawing AHeart Suit 8Heart Suit against the Swede’s JClub Suit 10Diamond Suit. A 10Club Suit on the turn shot Skaj into the lead but the KHeart Suit on the river saw the Dutchman hit his draw and win the tournament.
