Season six of the Unibet Open got underway in Copenhagen last weekend and the €1,500 + €150 buy in main event was won by Kassem Yassine of Sweden who took down DKK800,608 (€107,351) for topping the 366-strong field.
The total prize pool reached DKK3,604,608 (€483,329) and 36 players got paid a minimum of DKK24,000 (€3,218).
Yassine, who started the final table third in chips, busted three players at the final table to get heads up with [[p:Johnny Ostbjerg] from Denmark who was a 2:1 underdog in chips before relinquishing his chips to the rivered full house of the Swede.
