Scandinavian online bookmaker Betsson saw its poker revenue plummet 26 percent to SEK30.3 million (€3.16 million) in the first quarter of 2010 from SEK41 million (€4.3 million) in the same period of 2009.
It also declined 4 percent compared to the SEK31.5 million (€3.3 million) generated in the final quarter of 2009.
Betsson Poker revenue declined 17 percent in 2009.
Poker now makes up just 10.2 percent of Betsson’s overall revenue compared to 16 percent in the same period of 2009.
Casino is Betsson’s largest product accounting for 60.8 percent (up from 59.4 percent in the first quarter of 2009) while sportsbook’s share of the business was 24.2 percent (up from 22.4 in the same period last year).
The company will start offering euro-based poker in the second quarter of 2010.
