Daniel Negreanu ended up with all the chips in his first match, putting him at the top of the Poker Superstars Invitational 3's leaderboard. Like déjà vu, Negreanu again ended up with all the chips in his second match, giving him a perfect 20 points after two rounds and the only player with 20 or more points.

Greg Raymer lasted a mere two hands before he ended up all in with 5-5 against Cyndy Violette's T-T. The tens held and Raymer left the room with the same number of points he came in with, 5.

Phil Ivey was hoping to dig himself out of a hole he fell in by finishing fifth and earning 1 point in his first-round match, but couldn't do it. He soon followed Raymer out the door after losing a race holding 9-8. He has a total of 2 points going into his third match and will need to finish in in the top three in his last three matches to even get a sniff of the second round.

Gus Hansen was next to go. After his stack got chipped away by repeatedly folding to raises against Jennifer Harman, Harman finally sent Hansen home in fourth place. Hansen's Jdiamond Tdiamond was no match for Harman's Kclub Tspade. Hansen has 8 points after two matches.

Violette got unlucky when she hit top pair on the flop holding 9-6 while both the women were in the blinds. Harman also held a nine, but she matched her 2 with the board to give her two pair. A 6 or a straight failed to develop, and Violette was next to go in third, adding 5 points to the 1 she brought into this mach.

Harman went head to head against Negreanu carrying only 1 point. With his 10 points, Negreanu stayed out of the action most of the match in hopes of gaining as many points as possible. At one point, Harman was one ace away from taking first, but Negreanu's kings held against Harman's A-J. Earlier in the match, Negreanu remarked that he had yet to lose a race in the PSIT 3, and his luck continued.

The chip lead went back and forth between the poker buddies, as Harman and Negreanu took turns sucking out against each other. Harman first took the chip lead when she lucked into a straight on the river but Negreanu regained the chip lead a few hands later by catching a flush on the river, although he had the hand won with only a queen high even without the flush.

The last hand of the night had Negreanu holding Qheart 8heart against Harman's Tspade 5spade. A queen on the flop spelled doom for Harman, and that was it.

Harman added a much-needed 7 points to the 1 she took from her first match. With three more matches to go, she still has her work cut out for her in order to make it into round two. Pressure's off for Negreanu after taking the first two matches.

Next week, tune into FSN at 8 p.m. local time to see Todd Brunson, Mike Sexton, Johnny Chan, Ted Forrest, Joe Hachem, and Carlos Mortensen try to pick up as many points as they can in order to get into the second round of the PSIT 3.
