Poker veteran Chris Bell won event No. 46 ($5,000 pot-limit Omaha 8 or better) at around 5:30 a.m. PDT Monday at the 2010 World Series of Poker.
Bell entered in fifth chip-position out of the 21 that were remaining to start the final day. However, he slowly fell down the chip counts and was a severe short stack when play was six handed.
Bell remained focused and regained traction. He eventually squared off with fellow poker veteran Daniel Shak for a lengthy heads-up battle.
Bell prevailed and with the win pocketed $327,040 to go along with his first career WSOP bracelet. His fourth WSOP final table brings his career earnings to $2,194,299.
Joining Bell at the final table were bracelet winners David Ulliott, Rob Hollink, Perry Green and Erik Seidel. For awhile Seidel look poised to capture his ninth title, but eventually fizzled out in fifth.

Chris Bell opened to 70,000 on the button and Jeremy Harkin moved all in from the big blind. Bell called and tabled A 6 4 3 and Harkin exposed the A Q 10 5. The board ran out J 4 4 7 5 and Harkin was gone.
Perry Green Eliminated in Eighth Place ($38,549)
Erik Seidel limped in from small blind and Perry Green checked his option. The flop came A Q 10 and Seidel bet 45,000. Green called. The 9 fell on the turn and Seidel checked. Green moved all in and Seidel called with the A J J 8 for a flush. Green exposed the J J 6 4 and was drawing dead. The meaningless 4 fell on the river and Green was gone.
Rob Hollink Eliminated in Seventh Place ($50,014)
Joe Ritzie opened to 70,000 and Rob Hollink called. The flop came 9 7 2 and Hollink moved all in. Ritzie called with the A 7 4 3 for a pair of sevens and the nut low draw. Hollink tabled the A K 6 4 and was trailing. The 8 on the turn gave Ritzie his nut low. The 9 sealed Hollink’s fate.
Leif Force Eliminated in Sixth Place ($65,311)
Dan Shak bet 100,000 and Leif Force called in the big blind. The flop came Q 9 3 and Force checked. Shak bet 150,000. Force check-raised all in for 200,000 more. Shak called and exposed the K K 2 5 and was up against the A 7 9 K of Force. The K on the turn gave Shak a set and removed the low draws. The 5 on the river sealed Force’s fate and he was gone.
Erik Seidel Eliminated in Fifth Place ($85,800)
Erik Seidel bet and Joe Ritzie called. The flop came K 7 4 and Ritzie put Seidel all in. Seidel called. Seidel exposed the A J 5 4 for a flush draw and a low draw. Ritzie exposed the A Q 6 2. The turn brought the K and the Q fell on the river. Seidel failed to hit a winning high or low hand. He was eliminated.
Joe Ritzie Eliminated in Fourth Place ($113,444)
Dan Shak opened to 175,000 and Joe Ritzie moved all in for 250,000 total. Shak called with the A J 8 2 and was up against the 10 9 3 2 of Ritzie. The board ran out J 7 6 5 7 and Ritzie was gone.
David Ulliott Eliminated in Third Place ($150,925)
Chris Bell bet 150,000 and David Ulliott called. The flop came Q J 3 and Bell checked. Ulliott bet 300,000. Bell called. The 2 fell on the turn and Bell moved all in. Ulliott called and exposed the A 10 5 3. Bell tabled the A Q 8 4. The 7 was a brick on the river for Ulliott and he was eliminated.

Chris Bell limped and Dan Shak checked. The flop came K 8 2 and Shak checked. Bell bet 100,000. Shak potted to 460,000 total. Bell called. The K fell on the turn. Shak bet the pot. Bell moved all in and Shak called for his tournament life. Shak tabled the A 9 8 7 and was behind the K 10 9 8 of Bell. Shak was looking to make a low and chop the pot. However, none of those outs came when the 9 fell on the river. Shak was eliminated.
