Phil Ivey bookies favourite for WSOP Omaha ChampionshipPhil Ivey is perhaps unsurprisingly the British bookies favourite to take down today’s $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha World Championship event at the World Series of Poker.

He’s a best price 28/1 with bet365 and 25/1 with Ladbrokes and Sportingbet.

Ivey won the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. event earlier this Series to capture his eighth bracelet.

He’s followed in the market by Ben Grundy at 28/1 and Jason Mercier at 33/1 with Sportingbet and a host of players are priced 40/1 including Ilari Sahamies, Patrik Antonius, and Tom Dwan.

Dave Ulliott, Sammy Farha, Robert Williamson, and Daniel Negreanu can be punted at 66/1 while among the outsiders are Neil Channing, Phil Laak, Doyle Brunson, and Greg Raymer at 150/1.

All three bookies are offering one-eighth the odds for a player to make the final table of nine.
