There are undoubtedly quite a few of you out there who tried to earn a seat in the 2010 World Series of Poker main event and, unfortunately, didn’t make the cut. Now, as the WSOP main event is in full swing, you might be shaking your head thinking of what-ifs.
Well, stop worrying about missed opportunities and start capitalizing upon new ones — and Bodog can help with that. Bodog’s Mini Poker Series kicked off recently, and players who win an event or rack up enough tournament leader-board points during the series will snag a seat in the invitational final — which awards a free seat in the 2011 WSOP main event!
Bodog’s Mini Poker Series consists of 13 $10+$1 events with $40,000 in guaranteed prize pools and runs until July 17. First-place finishers in any event will receive an automatic entry to the Mini Poker Series final, which awards the $12,000 2011 WSOP main-event prize package. The top 30 percent of finishers in each Bodog Mini Poker Series qualifying event will receive tournament leader-board points. Those finishing in first through 10th places on the leader board also get a seat in the final. The final plays out on Thursday, July 22.
But don’t fret if you don’t win an event or place in first through 10th on the leader board, because 11th-50th place on the series leader board gain entry into a semifinal tournament, wherein the top 18 finishers get the remaining seats in the final. That semifinal tournament takes place on Tuesday, July 20.
There also are satellites running daily during the entire series with buy-ins of 100 frequent player points.
