Raj VohraIt was a hectic week in the 2010 Online Player of the Year race, but with the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) starting on Sunday, you can be sure that it’s going to get a lot crazier.

A total of 62 events are schedule to take place over the next four weeks and the majority of them are expected to heavily influence the OPOY race with so many points up for grabs. Taylor “ambiguosity” Paur continues to lead heading into the brutal stretch, but he’s got a new player on his tail in “kirbynator.”

The Canadian pro jumped over both Steve “gboro780” Gross and Casey “bigdogpckt5s” Jarzabek during the week after two final table appearances at UB Online Championship (UBOC) events.

Corey “Comandr_cool” Burbick sits in fifth place after a productive week, but hot on his heels is Raj “BadcardsAA” Vohra, who jumped four spots from tenth place by finishing runner up in the $100,000 Guarantee on Absolute Poker and then following that up with a sixth place finish in the $1K Monday.

The rest of the top ten, Chris “ImDaNuts” Oliver (seventh), Mickey “Mement_mori” Petersen (eighth), Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal (ninth) and Adam “squee451” Sherman (tenth), all fell back one spot as a result.
