The full schedule for the poker festival at the PokerStars North American Poker Tour Los Angeles stop was released today. The season 1 stop will include 21 different events and buy-ins will range from $335 to $5,000 in the no-limit hold’em main event. The poker festival begins on Monday, November 8 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 21. The tournament will be hosted at the Bicycle Casino.
Games spread will include no-limit hold’em, heads-up no-limit hold’em, bounty no-limit hold’em, six-handed no-limit hold’em, Omaha eight-or-better, seven-card stud eight-or-better, pot-limit Omaha, eight-game mixed, and H.O.R.S.E. There will be a ladies no-limit hold’em event on Sunday, Nov. 14.
In addition to a large variety of events available at low buy-ins, there will be options with a higher price tag as well. There will be three $5,000 events – the no-limit hold’em main event, a H.O.R.S.E. event, and a heads-up no-limit hold’em event. “This is truly a festival with something for everyone,” said Team PokerStars pro Jason Mercier. Mercier is expected to be on hand for several events throughout the duration of the festival, along with several other Team PokerStars pros.
The Bicycle Casino will be offering live satellite tournaments for all NAPT events throughout the poker festival. Kelley O’Hara, the Bicycle Casino’s Director of Marketing said, “We’re very excited to be hosting the West Coast leg of the tour. NAPT has already impressed players, providing a first-class poker experience that is creating quite the buzz.” Tournament Director, Mo Fathipour added. “The new multi-tiered schedule will keep players engaged with a variety of tournament choices. NAPT is really tapped into what players want”.
