The main event of the sixth stop of the European Masters of Poker gets underway today at Gran Casino, Barcelona, Spain.
The €1,000 + €100 buy-in season II EMOP Barcelona main event has a capacity of 500 players and will feature two day ones.
The full schedule for the week-long poker festival is:
Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. – €100 + €15 no-limit hold’em (200 capacity)
Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. – €50 + €10 pot-limit Omaha (200 cap)
Sept 22 at 6 p.m. – €100 + €15 no-limit hold’em, €50 rebuys and €50 add-on (200 cap)
Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. – €500 + €50 no-limit hold’em, two day tournament (150 cap)
Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. – €50 + €10 no-limit hold’em turbo freezeout (200 cap)
The most recent champion of season II is Manig Löser. The German took down the EMOP Bulgaria main event at the Crystal Crown Casino, Sunny Beach for a payday of €49,080.
