At The Races, a leading UK TV channel focusing on horse racing, is launching its own-brand online poker site in conjunction with gaming giant Genting.
Atrpokerclub.com will be fronted by former Sky Poker presenter Sean Boyce who said, “It’s a fantastic idea. As a passionate poker player, I’ve always been a firm believer that the game makes us all better bettors and every one I know loves the thrill that both racing and poker provides.
“Now, playing blackjack or poker online with the ATR Clubs combines my love of horse racing with my fascination with poker, and offers everyone great opportunities to enjoy a day at the races. Mind you, I’ll be living in fear every time I’m playing on the ATR Poker Club from now on, as I know that my scalp is now worth a few quid with Boycie’s Bounty Hunt.”
The company said it eventually plans to host live tournaments and broadcast them on the ATR TV channel.
