Cannuli Busts Two Players
Jul 15, '13
Just a little while earlier we wrote up how McLean Karr doubled through Gilbert Diaz, but now both these players are gone. When we received the two player cards of Karr and Diaz when went out to do some research on how this happened, and Thomas Cannuli turned out to be the big winner.
Cannuli explained how Karr three-bet Diaz’s raise after which he called. Diaz proceeded to move all in for 15,000 and Karr could only call or fold as this was not enough for another raise to be legitimate.
Both Karr and Cannuli called.
The flop brought king-seve-three with two clubs and Karr bet 8,900. Cannuli “piled” and Karr called creating a pot worth around 140,000 chips.
Karr showed pocket queens, Diaz had king-jack and Cannuli showed 56.
“I got there on the river,” Cannuli said as he now has around 200,000 chips.
