15 Tables
Jun 26, '07
There are currently 135 players left in the tournament tonight.
Jared Hamby and Eric Lynch have both been eliminated from the tournament. They should have been taking lessons from Rolf Slotboom. Slotboom has be referring to himself as "Shortstack Rolf" (foregoing the obvious alliterative option of Shortstack Slotboom). He has dipped down to as little as $1,000, but has fought his way back many times. He took a significant pot off of the player in seat 1 at his table as he got his to lead betting on all three streets with only Ace high.
David Plastik has propelled himself to the chip lead, notably knocking out a player at Tony Nasr, and Lacey Jones table with pocket Aces. Nasr seemed to think that this was newsworthy, as he must have trouble not getting his Aces cracked.
Joe Sebok has slipped from the lead down to an average chip stack, and Clonie Gowen had a set of Jacks cracked by Men Nguyen's flopped flush to put her on life support.
A few players have been seen trying to do jumping jacks in between their tables to keep their blood flowing. Much more still to come in this Limit paradise

Limit Tournament Continues
Jun 26, '07
Level four of event #43, $2,000 Limit Hold 'Em is over and the players are on a 15 minute break. The limits are just now getting high enough to see some real betting and as a result, players are starting to be eliminated. As the field shrinks more and more notable players are being noticed. Chris Ferguson is in today's field and paying more attention to his reading than his playing. Known for being one of the best No Limit Hold 'Em players in the world, Ferguson is actively reading the chapter on limit hold 'em in the
Full Tilt Strategy Guide while playing in the event. If any other player were doing the same thing it might be considered a tell.
Eric Froelich has been making moves in the early levels of play and has accumulated an above average stack with his aggressive play. With the limits at $100-$200 Froelich bet out $200 preflop and got one caller in the nine seat. The flop came J
