Nguyen called and the two players tabled their hands. Nguyen: AQ Board: Q10629 Nguyen won the pot to grow his stack close to 6 million with a pair of queens and Wattel was eliminated in seventh place. Minh Ly Eliminated in Sixth Place ($309,830) Seven-Card Stud George Danzer posted the bring-in and Minh Ly completed. David Benyamine called and Danzer called as well. Minh bet on fourth street and both opponents called. On fifth street it was Ly who led out again. Benyamine raised and Danzer reraised. Minh called all in and Benyamine four-bet. Danzer called and then action in the side pot saw Benyamine bet on sixth street and seventh street and Danzer calling both times. All the cards were tabled and Benyamine won the side pot with (86) Q810A (10) for an ace-high flush. That was also good enough to top Minh’s (AK) K102A (9) and win the main pot. Minh was eliminated in sixth place and Benyamine grew his stack to a chip-leading 5.15 million. Danzer was below 2 million after the hand. George Danzer Eliminated in Fifth Place ($388,523) Pot-Limit Omaha David Benyamine raised to 80,000 on the cutoff and Don Nguyen called on the small blind. George Danzer also called on the big blind and the flop was dealt 883. Nguyen bet 150,000 and Danzer bumped it up to 425,000. Benyamine folded and Nguyen reraised to 800,000. Mueller called and they revealed their cards. Mueller: AQ Board: Q10747 Johnson began with a lead but it was quickly eclipsed by a queen on the turn for Mueller. Marco was eliminated in eighth place and Mueller was over 400,000 after the hand. Mike Wattel Eliminated in Seventh Place ($26,966) Omaha Eight-or-Better Greg Mueller raised preflop under the gun and Mike Wattel called. The flop was dealt 1073 and Wattel checked. Mueller bet and Wattel check-raised all in. Mueller called and flipped over AJ42. Wattel held J532 and the turn and river followed KA. Wattel was eliminated in seventh place and Mueller scored another elimination with the scoop to keep his chip stack above 400,000. Dario Alioto Eliminated in Sixth Place ($35,634) Omaha Eight-or-Better Eric Crain raised UTG+1 and Dario Alioto called on the small blind. The flop was dealt J52 and Alioto checked to Crain, who bet. Alioto check-raised and Crain raised. Alioto raised again and Crain capped the betting with a final raise. Alioto called and the turn delivered the A. Alioto shoved all in and Crain called with 8843. Alioto held AK93 and after the river missed him Alioto was eliminated in sixth place. Crain held the chip lead after the hand thanks to the wheel he made on the turn and he now held 1 million. Bryan Porter also went all in, having both opponents covered, and the three players showed down. Their hands: Wattel: AJ The board missed everyone, running 22564 to give Porter the best hand and eliminate Wattel in fifth place ($186,250) and Bonavena in fourth ($254,777). Their hands: Amendola: A10 Wattel was the favorite, and Amendola needed some help. The board ran 3109Q4 and Amendola could only muster a pair of tens. Wattel’s kings held up, doubling him to 720,000 in chips. Amendola had just 550,000 after the hand. Amendola Knocked Out in 9th Place ($60,580) Not too long after he doubled up Mike Wattel, Alfonso Amendola got his last 490,000 all in against Tomer Curcio. In that hand, Chen raised to 24,000 and Wattel pushed his last 98,000 in. After some consideration, Chen called and both players stood pat in hopes that their hands were golden. More than half the table saw the flop of K8K.
