Brar was up to 334,000 and Crain was in trouble with 55,000. Crain got those chips into the middle a few hands later with K8, Allen Cunningham called with Q-2 offsuit and Crain spiked a king on the flop to ensure his survival with just over 100,000. Cunningham was still cruising with 750,000. Eric Crain Doubles Up Through Nicolas Halvorson Nicolas Halvorson raised the pot on the hi-jack and Eric Crain reraised all in to 80,000 on the cutoff. Halvorson called but Crain was ahead with pocket aces against the pocket nines of Halvorson. The board rolled QJ7102 and ensured that Crain would double up to survive. Nicolas Halvorson Eliminated in Seventh Place ($22,050) Nicolas Halvorson moved all in preflop for 50,000 from early position and Lef Rofman called on the small blind before they flipped over their cards. Reilly four-bet and Brar then shoved all in for 240,000. Reilly called and they tabled their hands. A Pair of Doubles First, Anthony Harb was able to double up to 550,000 thanks to pocket aces in a hand where he shoved preflop against the pocket fives of Eric Crain (220,000). On the next hand Lev Rofman made kings up to double up to 335,000 through Jaspal Brar, who was left with just under 400,000 after the hand. A Pair of Doubles The first elimination was followed by two doubles ups by short stacks. First, Jaspal Brar survived thanks to pocket aces topping the pocket jacks of Eric Crain in a pot that was shoved preflop. Harb doubled to 385,000 and Crain was down to 500,000. Then it was Nicolas Halvorson survived with trip tens to take his stack to 150,000 against Brar (250,000 after the hand). Tim Reilly Doubles Through Allen Cunningham Allen Cunningham raised to 20,000 UTG+1 and Tim Reilly called on the button. Lev Rofman called on the big blind and the flop was dealt 766. Rofman checked and Cunningham bet 35,000. Reilly called and Rofman folded. The turn fell K and Cunningham bet 50,000. Reilly raised all in for 137,000 and Cunningham called with 1010. Reilly flipped over AA and they held up after the 3 peeled off the deck on the river. Reilly doubled to 400,000 and Cunningham was down to a little less than that. Malm stood pat on the third draw and Wolansky drew one. Wolansky checked and Malm moved all in. Wolansky called, but he mucked when Malm turned over 10-8-6-5-3 to win the hand and double up to 310,000. Michael Malm Triples Up No-Limit Hold’em Steven Wolansky raised to 24,000 preflop and Eric Crain reraised to 68,000 on the button. Michael Malm called and Wolansky called as well. The flop was dealt J88 and Malm moved all in for 59,000. Wolansky and Crain both called and then they checked the Q and A on the turn and river. Wolansky revealed pocket fours but Crain had him beat for the side pot with KQ. Malm held QJ for queens up to win the main pot, which he claimed to triple up to 400,000. Wattel was eliminated in seventh place and Mueller scored another elimination with the scoop to keep his chip stack above 400,000. Dario Alioto Eliminated in Sixth Place ($35,634) Omaha Eight-or-Better Eric Crain raised UTG+1 and Dario Alioto called on the small blind. The flop was dealt J52 and Alioto checked to Crain, who bet. Alioto check-raised and Crain raised. Alioto raised again and Crain capped the betting with a final raise. Alioto called and the turn delivered the A. Alioto shoved all in and Crain called with 8843. Alioto held AK93 and after the river missed him Alioto was eliminated in sixth place. Crain held the chip lead after the hand thanks to the wheel he made on the turn and he now held 1 million. Layne Flack Eliminated in Seventh Place ($30,674) Stud Layne Flack got the last of his chips in on fifth street and Eric Crain made the call.
