Silberzweig Gets There

Matthew Silberzweig just caught a lucky break in a huge pot. Gennadiy Kostrov raised from the button and Silberzweig came over the top from the big blind after which Kostrov put in some more.
“He was raising from the button the whole time, so when he did it again I went all in,” Silberzweig said as he five-bet all in and Kostrov called creating a pot worth 170,000 chips.

The board gave Silberzweig a pair of aces and he apologized to Kostrov who was knocked out in this huge pot.

Matthew Silberzweig and Brad St. Vincent just got tangled up in a massive pot.
The two saw a flop of Q Q
7, and St. Vincent fired 16,000. Silberzweig made the call, and a third player in the hand folded.
The turn brought the J.
StVincent decided to check this time, and Silberzweig bet 28,000. St. Vincent check-raised to 75,000, and that was called after some brief deliberation from Silberzweig.
The river brought the J.
St. Vincent checked again, and Silberzweig announced he was all-in. He had 344,000 left.
St. Vincent thought about it for about 15 seconds before making the call. Silberzweig sheepishly exposed the 7 6, and St. Vincent exposed the Q 10 for a full house. One player at the table, who wasn’t in the hand, started mentioning the word “slowroll.”
Regardless, St. Vincent took the hand and busted Silberzweig in 28th.
