Justin Conley Doubles Through James EpnerJul 15, '13 We caught up with the action preflop with over 32,000 in chips in the middle. Justin Conley was all in for an additional 27,250 and it was up to James Epner to call. Epner thought it over for a bit before commenting that he was priced in and called with A Q. Conley held Q Q and it held on a board of K 9 6 9 7. He is now pushing six figures. At one point the German pro had close to 1.6 million in chips, which was more than 5 times the average. We are now down to just 10 players and Hanowski is not one of them. The board read 2J556 and Conley checked to Hanowski who bet 127,000. Conley tanked for a bit and proceeded to move all in. Hanowski had about 400,000 chips left behind and he started analyzing the hand out loud. After a while he called and was devastated when Conley turned over the winner. Conley showed AK and that beat Hanowski’s 95. “That’s the third time the flush on the river! It’s f***ing unbelievable!” Hanowski was knocked out in 11th place for $25,109 and Conley is up to 1,770,000 and chip leader of the tournament. Zawadzki tank folded what he later claimed to be pocket jacks and Hanowski called with A K. Conley turned over Q Q and the board fell 7 5 2 A 8 to give him a flush and a pot of about 1 million. Hanowski, realizing he had been “rivered” for the second time against Conley, is now down to 710,000.
