John Dollinger Takes A Hit
May 10, '14
John Dollinger told us about a big hand he played recently. He raised to 3,700 under the gun with the A10. The player in middle position called and the button called as well. The flop brought the 10-6-3 with two spades.
The big blind checked, he bet 6,500 and the player behind him then moved all-in for 44,000. Dollinger made the call after some time in the tank and finds out that he was indeed ahead of his opponents pocket sevens. That is until a seven spiked the turn. With that Dollinger, who was one of the chip leaders for much of day 1B, took a severe hit.

A short stack was all in for roughly 12,000 in chips and got action from John Dollinger. Dollinger showed AQ and was in bad shape against his opponent’s pocket kings.
The flop and turn were dry for Dollinger, but he found an ace on the river to eliminate a short stack and grow his stack to 77,000.

John Dollinger Wins One

John Dollinger is among the chip leaders here on day 1B, and he just added to his stack. With a flop of A54 he check-called 2,400 from the player on the button.
The turn brought the 9 and Dollinger again check-called, this time for 4,500. The river brought the A and Dollinger check-called yet again, for 6,000. His opponent showed the Q7 for a missed flush draw and Dollinger flipped up the K5 to win the pot with aces and fives with a king kicker.
