Malissia Zapata Doubles Twice
Malissia Zapata got the last of her chips in holding A-9 on a K-9-8 board and it was enough to top the 7-5 of Mark Meirkalns. Zapata was over 100,000 and she got the last of her chips in again a few hands later.
This time she held K-7 suited against the 10-2 suited of Mierkalns on a rainbow board that finished out A-K-2-3-6. After that hand she was up to 300,000 but was still in trouble with the big blind at 50,000.
