Maxim Lykov Wins Event $54 ($648,800)Jul 06, '11 Dror Michaelo Eliminated in 2nd Place ($401,296) Dror Michaelo began heads-up play with a chip deficit of slightly less than 2:1 with about 4.6 million to Maxim Lykov’s 9 million. Despite having plenty of play left with about 38 BBs, Michaelo had no qualms about getting it all in. In one of the first hands of heads-up play, he shipped nearly 1 million chips across the table after rivering top pair against Lykov’s flopped straight. That hand gave Lykov more than a 3:1 chip advantage when Michaelo three-bet shoved from the button before the flop with The board came A Q Q 9 7, giving Lykov top two pair on the flop to win the pot. Dror Michaelo was eliminated in 2nd place ($401,296) while Maxim Lykov wins the gold bracelet for Event #54 and the $648,800 grand prize.
