Chan Nearing A Half Million After the board had run out J738J, Johnny Chan fired 100,000 into the pot. His opponent went into the tank as the ESPN cameras approached and he eventually made the call. Event No. 55 ($10,000 pot-limit Omaha world championship) Begins at 5 p.m. on ThursdayJul 01, '10 Event No. 55 ($10,000 pot-limit Omaha world championship) at the 2010 World Series of Poker will begin at 5 p.m. PDT on Thursday, July 1. Players will begin with 7,500 in tournament chips. Blinds will begin at 50-75. Players may receive three additional add-ons for 7,500 in tournament chips at any time during the first four levels. If a player has not taken the add-ons by the end of the fourth level they will receive them automatically. Levels will be 60-minutes long and there will be a 20-minute break after every two levels.
