Shawn Sheikhan Gets A Fold From Ludovic Geilich
Mar 15, '16
We caught up with the action on a board reading J725 with about 300,000 in the pot. Shawn Sheikhan was all in for his last 334,000 and Ludovic Geilich went into the tank.
After about two minutes, Angelo Spinazzola, who has about 135,000, calls the clock. The tournament director comes over and begins the countdown and with a few seconds left, Geilich folds.
Sheikhan then shows A10 for a turned flush draw and Geilich takes exception with Spinazzola’s decision to call the clock. Spinazzola explains that he is short stacked and had to do it with the blinds about to go up, but Geilich isn’t convinced.
Sheikhan now has about 650,000 in chips.
