Michael Rossitto Doubles Into Contention For Chip Lead
Nov 13, '21
Donovan Dean was in the cutoff and got into a preflop battle with Michael Rossitto in the small blind.
After a few raises, Rossitto ended up all in for 865,000 and in bad shape with his QQ against Dean’s K-K.
The flop vaulted Rossitto into the lead, however, as it came QJ3, leaving Dean drawing to just one of the last two kings in the deck.
The turn was the 6 and the river was the A, which sent the pot to Rossitto and secured his double up. Rossitto and tablemate Fabian Gumz are neck-and-neck for the chip lead. Dean, on the other hand, was left with less than 20 big blinds.
Michael Rossitto – 1,755,000
Donovan Dean – 280,000
