Philip Shing Doubles Through James Romero

We arrived to find Philip Shing all-in with KJ racing against the 88.
The coin flip turned into a landslide after the flop came down KKJ to give Shing kings full. The 7 on the turn left Romero drawing dead, rendering the 7 on the river a mere formality.
Shing chipped up to 77,000 after the hand while Romero slid to 90,000.

Philip Shing is one of the notable players in the field early on Day 1A at the Card Player Poker Tour DeepStack Extravaganza main event. Shing is originally from Brooklyn, New York and he now resides right here in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Shing holds career earnings close to $2.2 million, and he has half a dozen six-figure scores. The largest was good for $360,140 at the $10,000 buy-in Wynn Millions event back in 2021. Shing also captured three tournament victories to his credit during his run in tournament poker that dates back to 2015.

Shing checked again. Hunt bet 4,500 and Shing quickly called, rolling over K9 for the ten-high straight made on the turn. Hunt could only show J2. Hunt slid to 55,000 while Shing chipped up to 102,000 after the hand.
