Dan Kelly Doubles Up On a board reading 7525A, Dan Kelly had doubled up with the 7 5 for a full house. His opponent folded the 10 9 for a turned flush. Pros Move All In to Gain ChipsFeb 26, '11 Erica Schoenberg bet 6,000 preflop from the hi-jack and Mas Kagawa made the call on the button. The small blind also made the call and the flop was dealt 9 8 4 and the small blind bet 9,000. Schoenberg went into the tank and she eventually raised all in 22,750 more. Kagawa mucked and after some thought the small blind mucked as well. Schoenberg moved close to 60,000 after the hand. At an adjacent table Nikolay Evdakov had just moved all in for just under 100,000 on a 10 8 3 from the cutoff after his opponent had opened the action for 2,500 from the big blind. November Nine member Soi Nguyen was a new addition to the top 10 this level with a chip stack worth 390,000. Big Hands: Brian Patrick Eliminated on the Money Bubble Jonathan Little raised under the gun and Brian Patrick moved all in from middle position for 49,000 more. Little made the call and they flipped over their cards: Little: A10 Board: J10665 Patrick was eliminated on the money bubble and every player was guaranteed at least $10,200 with his exit. Amit Makhija Eliminated in 45th Place ($10,200) Amit Makhija was all in with 97 and his opponent held K3. The board ran out 1096xJ and Makhija was eliminated by his opponent’s flush in 45th place. Barbero made the call and the turn was the K. Both players checked to see the 6 fall on the river. Hellmuth had called for a six before the river was revealed and led out for 3,800. Barbero mucked his hand and Hellmuth took down the pot. He was at 37,000 after the hand. Schoenberg Jumps The Gun, Costs Herself Some Action Picking up the action on the flop of K63, Erica Schoenberg was facing a bet of 5,000. She raised to 13,000 and Matt Venegrin made the call. The player who put in the first raise mucked. That’s when Schoenberg shoved the rest of her stack in and turned over KK52. Apparently she thought that Venegrin had raised to put her all in. The floor was called and Venegrin was allowed to see a turn card but mucked to Schoenberg’s set of kings after it was dealt.
