Brian Canin
Elliot Turner limped in from under the gun, a middle position player called, then Jeremy Armstrong raised to 1,575 from the hijack, leaving 5,000 behind. The player in the cutoff called, as did the player on the button.
Brian Canin, who finished second in the $25,000 GTD prelim event earlier this series, moved all in for around 65,000 from the small blind and action folded back around to Armstrong, who called all in for his last 7,000 or so. The cutoff folded witout issue, but the player on the button, who had around 10,000 chips left let’s out an, “Oh my God,” before she leaned back in her chair to think. She eventually folded what she said was pocket nines.
Canin turned over A

Armstrong received no help from the 9

Jeremy Armstrong is down to his last 2,600 after being on the wrong end of the classic Aces versus Kings situation.
With about 15,000 in the pot and a flop reading Q
J

the player under the gun checked and Armstrong bet 10,000. Under the gun quickly shoved for 22,950 and Armstrong snap-called.
Armstrong rolled over K
K
and was extremely unhappy to see his opponent table A
A
. The board completed 3
