Big Stacks Clash: Patrick vs. MillerMay 26, '13 Two of the top three stacks in the field on day 1B played a huge pot with minutes left in the final level of the night. Devron Miller raised to 5,000 and Brian Patrick reraised to 13,500. Miller thought it over for a moment before calling. Patrick went into the tank, clearly agonizing about the decision. “This would be a crazy call.” After several minutes, his thinking out loud changed course slightly. “I could come back with a lot… I played so well all day.” After a few more minutes he eventually folded. Miller climbed into the outright chip lead for the day with 368,600 while Patrick fell to 268,400 to end the day. Phil Collins holds the top spot with more than 1 million while familiar faces Erica Schoenberg, and Jonathan Little reside in the top 10 as well. November Nine member Soi Nguyen was a new addition to the top 10 this level with a chip stack worth 390,000. Big Hands: Brian Patrick Eliminated on the Money Bubble Jonathan Little raised under the gun and Brian Patrick moved all in from middle position for 49,000 more. Little made the call and they flipped over their cards: Little: A Board: J Patrick was eliminated on the money bubble and every player was guaranteed at least $10,200 with his exit. Amit Makhija Eliminated in 45th Place ($10,200) Amit Makhija was all in with 9 Ali Eslami Eliminated in 42nd Place ($10,200) Ali Eslami moved all in on a short stack preflop from middle position and Mario Delis made the call from the cutoff.
