Level 6 Update: Mizrachi Still WinningJun 03, '10 Blinds: Bring-in 200, ante 200, limits 800-1,600 Players Remaining: 132 out of 150 Average Chip Count: 34,091 Tournament Leaderboard: 1. Michael Mizrachi — 92,000 Notable Eliminations: John Juanda Big Hands: Juanda Busts Against Aces John Juanda got all in on third street but didn’t get the running cards he needed, and Chris Amaral’s rolled up aces were enough to give Juanda an early exit from the tournament, following his final table performance in event no. 2. Juanda: (A3)-68K3-(7) The hand moved Amaral back to his starting stack of 30,000. Mizrachi’s Kings Are King Fresh off his bracelet win in the Players Championship, Michael Mizrachi could be on his way to another one. Already among the chip leaders, Mizrachi was just involved in a hand that pushed him right around the 100,000 chip mark. Mizrachi called the player in seat 6’s bets on each street, then raised on 5th street. Seat 6 called and continued calling Mizrachi’s bets on every street until the last. After some consideration, seat 6 finally folded his hand to The Grinder, sending a huge pot Mizrachi’s way. Mizrachi showed his down cards to prove he wasn’t bluffing. Mizrachi: (KK)-107KQ-(2) His rolled up Kings connecting for trips pushed the Players Champion into the chip lead. Minieri Runs Into a Flush, Eliminated We got to the action a little late to record everything, but we watched Dario Minieri bet sixth street and the river and was called very quickly by his opponent on both streets. After being called on the river, Minieri tapped the table as if to say “Good hand, I have nothing.” His opponent showed him a flush and left him with under 5,000. He was eliminated very shortly thereafter. Straigh Flush For Raymer Greg Raymer called a bet from his opponent on fourth and fifth street and on sixth street his borad looked like this. Raymer: (X-X)-6-4-2-3 Raymer fired a bet after his opponent checked on sixth street and fired again after a check on the river. His opponent folded, but Raymer showed the 45 in the hole giving him a straight flush. Gerasimov was down to just 3,500 while Ulliott was up to 84,000. Schmelev Can’t Win Three-Way Pot, Chris Amaral Eliminated Chris Amaral was all in by fourth street, leaving Craig Neilan and Vladimir Schmelev to contest a side pot. Neilan eventually found himself all in on sixth street and showed (KKJ)K337 for a full house. “I’m drawing dead,” Amaral said as he showed rolled up sixes. Schmelev had rolled up nines and the river was not the case nine as he mucked his hand and Neilan nearly tripled up to 60,000. Schmelev was still relatively healthy after the pot at 147,000. Bach Masters Nguyen We caught up with this hand on seventh street. David Bach bet 3,000 and Men Nguyen made the call. Bach was showing A584 and turned over (JJA) for two pair. Nguyen was showing A4KQ but mucked his hole cards when Bach showed his hand. Bach was up to 53,000 while Nguyen was at 67,000.
