Johnico raised to 450 from Under the Gun and Kornuth called from middle position. The dealer spread 664. Johnico bet 575, Kornuth raised to 1,300 and Johnico three-bet to 2,500. Kornuth called and the 9 opened on the turn. Johnico checked-called Kornuth’s 4,700 bet and the two saw the A open on the river. Johnico checked, Kornuth fired out a bet of 10,000 and Johnico tanked momentarily before calling.
Kornuth showed J8 for a turned Jack-high spade flush and Johnico slid her cards to the muck.
Kornuth now has about 36,000 and Johnico is down to about 22,000.
