Daniel Negreanu called from the small blind and the three players saw a flop of AQ9. Seiver bet 800 and Negreanu folded. Mercier called and the turn was the 8. Seiver bet 1,025 and Mercier called. The river was the J and both players checked. Mercier showed A10 and Seiver mucked, saying “bigger than mine.” He later mentioned that he flopped a flush with the 76. Seiver is down to 41,000 and Mercier has rebounded from his earlier loss back up to 23,000. Seiver was eliminated later on in the level, though details are unknown. He made the final table in this event last year. Poorya Nazari Chips Up Poorya Nazari raised to 800 and was called by Brett Richey and another player on the button. The flop came down A77 and everyone checked. The turn was the 9 and Nazari bet 3,300. Richey called and the river was the J. Nazari bet 7,050 and Richey folded, giving the 2009 PCA Champion the pot. 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Begins at Noon on TuesdayJan 04, '10 The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $10,000 no-limit hold’em main event begins on Tuesday, Jan 5 at noon EST, and Card Player will be there to bring you all of the action in live coverage. Last year, Poorya Nazari (pictured left) topped a field of 1,347 players at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas to take home the top prize worth $3 million. The 2010 main event will crown a champion on Monday, Jan. 11. Players will begin with 30,000 in chips and the blinds begin at 50-100 in the $10,000 main event. Levels will be 60-minutes long on day 1 and increase to 75 minutes thereafter. Participation is capped at 1,600 players. Card Player’s live coverage from the event will feature live updates, chip counts, photos, and videos from CardPlayer TV. The final two days of the main event will also be broadcast live on the EPT Live video feed. NOTE: All tournament days begin at noon EST. Dee Luong reraised to 140,000 from the big blind and everyone but Nazari mucked. The call put Nazari all in for his tournament life against Luong. Nazari held A-K and Luong held pocket aces. The board missed both players and Nazari was eliminated on the hand. Luong grew her stack to 675,000 and she joined the chip leaders. Patrick Walsh Eliminated Patrick Walsh was eliminated from the tournament when his pocket queens ran into the pocket kings of Kathy Liebert. The kings held and Liebert grew her stack to 160,000. Danny Fuhs Doubles Up Tom McCormick raised under the gun preflop and Danny Fuhs reraised from late position. McCormick reraised all in and Fuhs made the all-in call.
