It appears Frankie Flowers and Raj Patel have been getting into quite a few pots together since the start of the day. Both men are still seated at their original table and seem to be accounting for a good portion of the action there.
Two hands just played out back-to-back.
Patel raised to 600 from under the gun and Flowers called from under the gun +1. The flop was dealt Q98 and both players checked. The turn was the A and both checked again. The river was the K and both checked at third time.
Patel showed KQ for two pair. Flowers showed his cards to Patel and then tossed them in the muck.
“Don’t you have enough chips anyway Frankie?” Another player asked.
“Not yet,” Flowers said. “I don’t have them all.”
The next hand William Wachter raised to 800 from the hijack seat and Patel called form the small blind. Flowers called from the big blind and the three saw a flop of J85. Flowers bet 1,600, Wachter folded and Patel called. Both men checked down the board of 4Q. Flowers showed 76 and took the pot.
