Richard Ashby – 1,100,000 Eliminations: 7th. hasan Habib – $40,020 Hasan Habib Doubles Through Nick Schulman Nick Schulman raised to 45,000 from the button and Hasan Habib called from the big blind. Each player drew one card. First to act, Habib moved all in for around 60,000 and Schulman called. Habib showed 7 – 6 – 5 – 3 – 2 and raked the pot, doubling up to about 250,000 this hand. Still on the short stack, Habib sits with roughly the same amount he entered the official seven-handed final table with. Hasan Habib Shortly after doubling up through Nick Schulman, Hasan Habib open-shoved the short stack before the draw for about 170,000 and Richard Ashby called. Habib drew one card while Asby stood pat. Ashby showed 10 – 9 – 5 – 4 – 2 for a ten-low while Habib turned over 8 – 6 – 4 – 2, pairing his deuce after the draw. Hasan Habib came to the official seven-handed final table as the short stack, and was the first to go in 7th place ($40,020). Juanda then made a run at the chip lead amassing over 500,000 at one point before surrendering a huge pot to Richard Ashby which put Ashby on top and dropped Juanda down to about 350,000. Raymer on the other hand wouldn’t be so lucky as he was eliminated in 9th place ($27,928) after Raymer paired jacks against Juanda’s made ten. With Raymer’s 9th place elimination, the final eight players have consolidated to one table where one more player will need to be eliminated before the official seven-handed final table is set.
